The Haunted Whaley House
I took a bunch of pictures of the Whaley House hoping to catch something, anything. No ghosts found. But I will keep going back until I find something. This property was initially a court house and many executions were performed on site. The land was purchased by the Whaley’s in 1856 and used as a residence. This is one of the only haunted houses that was reported as being haunted by the original owners. Lesson to be learned here, perhaps never convert a court house into your residential house, especially if a gallows was in the back yard.
I love this picture of the pepper trees. These were all planted by Anna Whaley herself in 1856. The history these trees have seen.
